It’s official!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 27 for the 2020 Plane Pull at the Portland Jetport, powered by Northeast Air for the benefit of our partner and nonprofit the Travis Mills Foundation.

Last year this inaugural event exceeded all expectations and raised over $100,000 to support recalibrated veterans at TMF veteran’s family retreat in Belgrade Lakes, Maine. Supporting veterans has always been close to the heart of our company, as 30% of our employees are veterans.

Once again, Fed Ex will be lending us their 80-ton, Boeing-757 for the event. Teams of 25 individuals will try their strength to see how far they can pull the aircraft, with a pledge to fundraise a minimum of $2,500 per team. Due to the success of last year’s event, we have expanded the number of pulling teams that will be able to enter and added new team divisions. In addition to a General Division, there will be a new Women’s Division, First Responder and Military Division and a Heavyweight Division. The team registration website at

We are grateful for our NEA employees and the many community volunteers that support the production of the event, including our friends at Fed Ex, Maine Civil Air Patrol, Portland Jetport and so many others who donate countless hours and human resources to help us with the logistics.
